They are now looking for a motivated person with a keen eye for detail to join the team as a Senior Research Analyst.

Reporting to the Director of Commercial Engagement, you will work to develop the Skills and Employment Partnership’s (SEP’s) skills intelligence system to ensure that the SEP has a comprehensive understanding of pre- and post-16 education and training being funded and delivered in the Greater Manchester area. The role will require the successful candidate to work with an array of partner to gather, compile and gather intelligence and information and disseminate it to other organisations and partners in order to inform decision making, planning and policy.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential as you’ll need to liaise with education and training providers to obtain and integrate real time information on education and training

supply and learner and employer demand held by the College and New Economy. You’ll use your excellent presentation and ICT skills to convey evidence to a wide range of audiences and partners, including employers, and to ensure that this data informs curriculum development and employment and skills policies.

Educated to degree level in a relevant subject, the successful Senior Research Analyst will have experience of data collection methods, working with the ILR and conducting quantitative and qualitative surveys. Strong analytical and project management skills are a must, as is an understanding of government skills policies and the education and training sector.Although not essential, similar experience gained with in a FE/WBL provider setting would be preferred.

Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that you have a driving license and access to a vehicle.
