Technical Manager

This position offers a great opportunity, ideally suited to someone currently working within either a Quality Assurance or Technical Assistant role that is looking to progress their career into a Technical Manager position. Key responsibilities * Implementation, compliance and continual auditing of the BRC/Femas Standards. * Compliance and implementation of the quality and hygiene policies and procedures. * Technical and Quality issues. * Responsibility of verification/calibration of all technical equipment. * Responsibility of creating/amending and maintaining all controlled forms. * Ensuring the training needs of all staff are identified and implemented providing support for the Managing Director and Factory Manager and his assistant. * Responsibility and authority for the issue of internal concessions as per BRC/FEMAS standards. * Responsibility and authority to issue decisions concerning non conforming product and process deviations. * Responsible for the investigation and corrective actions for customer complaints. * Ensuring that the quality requirements for the customer are defined and achieved through the implementation of appropriate checking procedures. * Ensuring adequate document control in accordance with the BRC/FEMAS standards * Identify and implement appropriate testing to ensure product is fit for purpose and answers any legal requirements. * Ensure all paperwork is completed as requested by Managing Director.
