Senior Project Manager

Working within the University's multi-disciplinary Estates Development team, the Senior Project Manager will take the lead role on the delivery of a broad range of estate improvement projects valued from GBP 10k to in excess of GBP 50m across the University's diverse estate portfolio including research and teaching facilities, social space and office accommodation. Projects are varied and will include but are not limited to new build, renovation and adaptation schemes. You will be responsible for the day to day management of projects and also the delivery of large elements of the overall programme of work.
The successful candidate will possess significant experience of managing a range of construction and property projects (valued up to and in excess of GBP 25m) in a comparable context in either a client project manager or a client's consultant project manager role. You will have strong technical skills, with a built environment background and proven experience of working with a variety of contract types and technically complex property and project types.
Excellent interpersonal skills are essential as you will be required to lead projects across a large, complex organisation successfully working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
