Commercial Property Manager - Imperial College London

We are seeking to make the key appointment of a property management specialist within the Operations Group.Working closely with the COO, the Operations Group Finance Manager and colleagues in the Strategic Masterplanning & Development, Estates Projects, Estates Facilities and Campus & Commercial Services teams the Corporate Property Manager will play an integral role in ensuring that Imperial maximises the potential of its existing estate portfolio and takes full advantage of appropriate opportunities in the property market.

The Commercial Property Manager will use their skills and experience to gain a detailed and in depth understanding of the Imperial portfolio and how best to maximise value from potential estate activity. This will include both high level recommendations in regard to acquisitions and disposals, potential revaluations of current leases, while still advising on portfolio rationalisation and how to maximise returns and value from the wider University estate.

The successful candidate will be a Chartered Surveyor with proven experience of property and asset management gained across a portfolio of significant scale and complexity, either in a client side or consultancy role.You will enjoy the strategic elements of asset management and property development with a considerable emphasis of the role being focused on advising senior management on property matters of key strategic importance.It would be advantageous if you have had experience in dealing with or advising on high value planning and development and investment transactions in a comparable context.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential due to the influential nature of the role.It is anticipated that the appointed candidate will have a bright, resilient, tactful and enthusiastic disposition.
