Training Specialist – DefenceBristolTraining Specialist: A well known Engineering company are looking to recruit a Training Specialist at their site in Bristol to conduct and manage the analysis, design and delivery of training mainly in the Defence area, to analyse, design and deliver SCORM and where necessary, DSAT conformant self-paced and instructor led interactive training material within budget and meet quality standards.Training Specialist Key Responsibilities:* Conduct Training Needs Analysis, producing TNA outputs as required.* Interpret results of the TNA in order to determine lesson content* Determine the optimum illustrative and experiential instructional strategies commensurate with the key learning points (KLP).* Design and develop courseware to an accurate and high standard using modern course design techniques and company processes ensuring SCORM and DSAT compliance where required.* Liaise with Media Team to ensure that media assets are developed in line with initial design.* Conduct peer reviews on other CT Engineer’s authored courseware.* Deliver, assess and evaluate training courses to customers to agreed methods and standards.* Produce and maintain course documentation* Provide feedback from courses* Provide Training SME support and innovative solutions to:- Project Managers- Customer/Clients* Provide support to customer reviews* Carry out general project admin / support tasks, deliveries to customers and general support of other activities as required.* Provide input to weekly/monthly progress reports.Training Specialist Experiences:* Degree in an education-related field or a degree in a technical discipline plus previous working experience in a multimedia courseware development and delivery environment or current ongoing practice. Must be able to demonstrate successful delivery of multimedia courseware development and delivery preferably in a Defence environment* Recognised TNA qualification with previous TNA experience* Recognised military or civilian training delivery qualification. Good working knowledge of theDSAT process* Good working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS).* Analyse and produce required outputs for TNA* Create and deliver intuitive and engaging interactive training objects using current instructional design and delivery principles and processes.* Communicate effectively and accurately both in the written and verbal form.* Utilise an analytical, systematic and proactive approach to problem solving.* Use own initiative in identifying and resolving complex problems and assignments.* Plan, schedule, prioritise and monitor own work competently within prescribed deadlines and according to relevant procedures.Successful applicants will be required to be security cleared to at least SC level without restrictions prior to appointment. -There is no better time to join this world class engineering company.Apply Now or call Steve on 01923 22 55 81
