A fantastic opportunity has arisen with an industry leading manufacturer for an experienced Maintenance Co-Ordinator with an Engineering background to lead their well-established maintenance engineering team.
The business have recently begun installing a PPM schedule to reduce the amount of reactive maintenance needed on site, and as such now need a Maintenance Co-Ordinator to facilitate the full introduction of the system to the engineering and manufacturing teams.
Key responsibilities for the Maintenance Co-Ordinator will include:Developing methodology and standard operating/maintenance procedures for all on-site existing and new equipment Working alongside the Procurement team to maintain and organise engineering spare parts stock levels, performing associated administration tasks Work with the shift engineering teams to establish areas for improvement and investment in processes and kit Plan maintenance for kit including vacuum pumps, motors, hydraulics, furnaces and extrusion equipment Provide hands on and technical support to the engineering team Ensure full understand and compliance to all H&S procedures
We are looking for either an Electrical or Mechanically biased Engineer who is qualified to minimum HNC level, with experience leading teams through changes in processes and introducing improvements. You will demonstrate strong people and process management skills, and will be looking for a role that will allow you plenty of scope to develop within the business.
