Temporary  for Office Angels in Nottingham

Our prestigious client based in Nottingham City Centre is currently recruiting for 5 Dispute Associates on a temporary basis for approximately 12 weeks. The key purpose of this role is to resolve transactional queries whilst ensuring there are no financial losses to our client. Key Accountabilities ? To prevent department losses ? To investigate and respond to incoming cardholder contact, deciding upon the most appropriate course of action ? To negotiate with both merchants and banks regarding the settlement of disputes when appropriate ? To build up a case summary on claims and seek out further information where required in order to gain as much understanding as possible of the full claim, identify who liability sits with ? Maintain effective working relationships to ensure the timely resolution of problems to achieve minimal impact to cardholders ? Deliver consistent advice, guidance & alternative solutions to the cardholder ? Resolve the customer's queries via various communication channels To be successful in this role you must have: ? Strong verbal and written communication skills ? Good organisational skills and knows how to prioritise your own work ? The ability to work autonomously with little steer from management ? Experience in an fast paced operational role The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Consumer Credit Act claims and also transactional disputes although this is not essential. You will be paid £6.50 per hour for the first 12 weeks and this will increase to £7.79 thereafter should this be extended. This role is due to start on 21st July 2014. Due to the nature of our client the successful candidate must be able to pass a credit and criminal check.
