Bid Coordinator

Contract  for Office Angels in Kings Langley

Office Angels have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bid Coordinator to join our rapidly growing client, a leading provider of Business Consumables, based in Kings Langley. This is a key role leading the formal bidding process to their clients with the support of senior management, sales and the support and operations team, the successful candidate will need to have experience in a sales and marketing/bid support environment. This is initially a SIX MONTH CONTRACT covering maternity working 40 hours Monday to Friday offering a salary of 28,000 – 30,0000. Key responsibilities: *Working with sales to assess prospect needs *Coordinate answer of the proposal questions, as required. *Producing the bid brief *Identifying resources and expertise, as required *Establish the bid planning, integrating it into a workable schedule *Ensure the effective running of bids through strong communication and liaison with sales and other internal functions *Writing the bid, editing the contributions and coordinating the bid production *Working closely with the core team and subject matter experts *Ensuring compliant submission *Preparing oral presentations *Monitor and update the bid *Produce post bid reviews and handover documents What we’re looking for: *Ideally the candidate will have experience in a similar role/environment *Do you have a strong understanding of project management? *Must be confident and outgoing with high energy levels; be comfortable working with senior managers *Do you possess excellent written and oral communication skills? *Are you driven by deadlines and results orientated? *Are you analytically minded and research-biased? *Consulting experience would be an advantage but not essential *Do you have a strong business acumen, are you commercially aware?
