Telesales Executive-Electrical Wholesale
An electrical wholesaler in the Derby area require an experienced Telesales Executive who is well presented, professional, enthusiastic and flexible. Who understands the need to be patient, proactive and punctual. Opportunities to progress for the right candidate.
Ideally you will have a sound knowledge of the electrical and lighting industry.
Main Purpose of the Job
The Telesales Executive acts as the first point of contact with new customers, portraying
professionalism and confidence that delivers the ultimate in customer service; to build and maintain a customer base to support the branch team and develop new sales opportunities to support the Derby branch.
? Support the team and develop new sales opportunities to support the Derby branch.
? Once familiar with the product range of energy saving products such as lighting, begin to be proactive on sales by implementing an agreed sales strategy.
? Maintain an agreed level of pro-active telephone activity
? Pro-actively seek new business by targeting a combination of existing customer base and prospective customers.
? Effectively deal with enquiries requesting site surveys, quotations for products; compiling information on the desired products including prices from external suppliers.
? Create quotations from information gained from site surveys-
? Ensure all quotations are followed up when necessary.
? Liaise between other members of staff and customers to efficiently answer general enquiries concerning deliveries
? Meet and exceed the agreed specific performance objectives.
? Ensure all orders received are entered into the system accurately and colleagues kept aware
? Liaise on a daily basis with your colleagues/manager and update them on any developments in your work ensuring a high level of team relationships exist.
? Ensure that the Business Manager is kept informed of any developments/opportunities
? Provide sales reports on a weekly/monthly basis
Sound knowledge of the electrical/lighting industry would be desirable.

? Minimum of 2 years sales or telesales experience
? Strong customer service background
? Sound knowledge of the practical application of a sales department
? Experience of building relationships with customers
? Able to provide evidence of working in a target related environment
? Can demonstrate the ability to go the extra mile, to exceed expectations
? Excellent telephone manner
? Excellent time management and personal organisational skills
? Ability to work to deadlines
? Ability to work without close supervision
? Ability to work closely to instructions

Salary £14-£16k plus annual bonus.
