IT Delivery Manager/Transition Head

Siri Software Solutions is the mid range IT consultancy company specialist in the world with a single-minded and realistic vision: it has created many E-commerce services in the world.Siri Software Solutions provides testing, development services to various clients.Job Purpose/Aim:We are looking for structured Service Delivery/Migration/Transition background, with extensive knowledge of Service Delivery within IT Operations and Transition. This role will see the successful candidate working as part of the regional IT team, providing IT support, Project Management.Advice and analytical support relating to IT infrastructure services and software within the clients operation business. You will also be responsible in ensuring the delivery and ongoing management of the technical.Infrastructure and services, in accordance with internal policy and ITIL best practices.Key Roles and Responsibilities:Strong cultural knowledge and experience of working with European and IndianColleagues in Onsite and Offshore Delivery Model is must. Knowledge of at least one Indian Language is essential to coordinate with the offshore team based in IndiaImplement global processes for Incident/Problem/Change ManagementProven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, software deployments and project migration/transitionThe primary work stream will be based upon Data Centre, System and migration from the current, Legacy systems.Previous demonstrable Incident Management experience and capability working for large scaleComputer manufacturing industry and blue chip financial sectorAbility to present technical solutions/issues to both technical & non-­technical peopleTransition/Migration Requirements:Build Service Delivery Models and Transition plansWork with key stakeholders to smooth transitionEnsure all service delivery information is captured and stored in central repositoryCreate and manage delivery models as they transition to globalIncident management and fine tuning (CSI) processes as migrations progress OLA creation, review and sign offProvide timely and accurate reportingCapture risk and issues as they ariseExperience of project management including organization­ wide roll­outsDesign and implement documentation templates, policies, processes, procedures and trainingEssential/Technical Skills (required):Extensive experience in a fast paced operations environment working within an ITIL framework with a solid understanding of the Incident Management process.Experience of ITSM tool sets, preferably BMC Remedy and Service­Now. Experience on technical tools like SCCM, APP­V, Citrix XenDesktopITIL v3 foundation certified, Strong background in Service Operations and Service TransitionPRINCE 2 Practitioner Certified,VCP5­ DCV CertifiedCandidates must be educated with a Technology Degree/Masters Degree/HND or HNC or equivalentProject Management of Infrastructure/IT projects along with technical supportProven experience of managing and leading a technical team of small sizeExperience working on large/complex System or Software Migrations, Upgrades or Data CentreMigrations in a large scale computer manufacturing industrySound technical understanding of planning, designing and delivering IT/Infrastructure based projectsThrough understanding of Business continuity planning(BCP) and disaster recovery(DR) is a mustPrevious experience with the following productivity tools: Lotus Notes, MS Outlook, MS Office,MS PowerPoint, MS Project and Visio, Java, .net, understanding of solution architecture is desirable
