Are you an experienced, creative Marketing Manager who is looking for a dynamic, 360 degree role?

My client is an investment organisation that works with emerging companies in the early stages of growth or those more established looking to expand. Providing funding, consultancy and support, my client works alongside the community and social enterprise partnerships putting government funding to work by reaching companies who need help. By sending a positive and clear message to the market, my client is a not-for-profit is a very different type of investment organisation.

A fantastic role is being offered for a proactive Marketing & Communications Manager to take the reins and bring your extensive knowledge to the business. You will work with Fund Managers in being the driver behind raising awareness of the funding opportunities available, whilst dealing with Public Relations issues and corporate communications. You will be fully responsible for developing a marketing strategy across the organisation in supporting the Group’s fund managers in generating new opportunities to fund suitable companies or social enterprises. This role will encompass the following areas:

Management & updating the website and contentManagement of all social media across the group - Twitter,Facebook, Google+, Linked In ++++Public Relations & Corporate CommunicationsUpdating of all marketing material and literatureManaging the CRM marketing databaseManagement of suppliers eg. Print company, PR agency, branding agenciesReporting to the board in building and planning future marketing initiativesEvents Management

This is a role where you will be able to develop and own the marketing function, therefore the successful person will be looking for an all-encompassing role. You will have outstanding communication skills with a desire to build your career in a long term role. Good knowledge of social media is essential, with a flair for content writing and a good level of English grammar. Consideration will also be given to a more junior candidate with a Marketing Degree, who is looking to develop their career further. Drivers licence & own vehicle desirable.
