People Change Programme Manager

As People Change Programme Manager, you will ensure the successful delivery of a key programme of change in the clients operational hub, west London. You will be an experienced programme manager who has a proven track record of coordinating and delivering a programme of significant people change projects to time and budget. Resilient, and with an eye for detail; have excellent interpersonal & influencing skills and can handle ambiguity. You will be able to challenge and influence stakeholders at all levels across the organisation including senior executives, trade union officials and operational managers and as such will experience of delivering change in a unionised environment. Job Purpose

Provide specialist programme and change management expertise to ensure the delivery of the London Operations People Change programme to timescales and budget.

Principal AccountabilitiesEnsure fit for purpose project management best practice is applied to change initiatives to ensure successful delivery Build strong relationships with key stakeholders includin executive team, HR, Finance project managers to review project progress and proactively resolve issues as they arise Review portfolio with the portfolio manager to ensure projects are prioritised and aligned in order to deliver the strategy Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify opportunities, interdependencies, gaps, risks and issues and proactively take appropriate action Provide interim and additional project management support at early or critical phases of key initiatives where required Ensures all change initiatives include appropriate employee engagement and communications plans Scope, shape and define new initiatives, write project briefs and/or Terms of References (ToRs) and/or work directly with the project managers to ensure adequate scoping and defining of projects Conduct project health checks, review and provide feedback on key project management documents like ToRs and plansThe IndividualSkillsExcellent programme and project management skillsStrong organisation & planning skills and ability to deliver to deadlinesStrong interpersonal skills, able to develop and manage effective relationships to senior levels & cross-functionalEffective challenging & influencing skillsStrong communication skills, both verbal & writtenThorough, strong eye for detailProblem solvingAble to apply judgement when to enforce agreed principles and when a more flexible approach is required Flexible, with the ability to work as part of a team and as an individualEssential QualificationsA project management qualification (e.g. MSP) is desirable Preferred: educated to a graduate level or equivalentExperienceExperience of delivering people change projects within a unionised environmentStrong project management experience demonstrated by successful track record of managing projectsInvolvement in delivery of business change projectsExperience of working with multiple stakeholdersExperience of working with stakeholders from different business areas and range of seniority levelsExperience of applying structured project methodologies, tools and disciplinesExpertiseGood knowledge of project management processes and techniquesGood understanding of business drivers to allow identification of conflicts and dependencies Working knowledge of basic employment law Application ProcessAll applicants must be eligible to work in the UK are required to submit their CV and clearly show experience of implementing People Change Programmes.
