Management Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join Kärcher on a 15 month contract, based at their Banbury site. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for:

Preparation and review of the monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations and sales and margin analysisCoordination of VAT and other tax requirementsFormulation of monthly Sales & Margin and Profit & Loss forecastsAssisting in the reporting on and control of overhead costs, while investigating any variances and adhering to budgetsPreparation of audit records and evidence for internal and external auditorsEnsure accuracy of input of data into SAP is in line with reporting requirements and expectationsEvaluating new commercial opportunities as required and subsequently assisting project teams with their financial requirements as new opportunities ariseEnsuring that the management team has the suitable information for the performance appraisal of Kärcher (UK)'s existing revenue streams and profit centresHelping the cost centre managers manage their business segments and have the automated tools to get suitable financial information from the systemAssisting in the further automation of financial and administration tasks for the Senior Management and Finance teams, through the use of the SAP system and ExcelHelp incorporate new changes into the Finance department's processes and look to continuously improve the quality of the departments output

The right candidate will have Excel skills to an advanced level (pivot tables /macro use and editing, use of higher level of formulae), and preferably SAP experience. Part-qualified and qualified by experience candidates will be considered. The position is to start as soon as possible and has a salary of £32,000 per annum.
