Customer Service Supervisor/Manager

Due to ongoing expansion within this leading, global manufacturer of special purpose machinery into the UK manufacturing and engineering sectors including automotive,F1 and medical, an opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Manager to support its service and helpdesk function.


The role of Customer Service Manager Service will report directly into the UK Customer Service Manager. You will be primarily responsible for the control the UK helpdesk and customer service function. This will include the upkeep of the system within this very busy department. It will be your role to ensure all customers, engineers and internal stakeholders are satisfied in terms of the support of both external problems on machines as well as the management of the internal resource system. You will ensure that all calls received are handled and placed in the system to be dealt with by internal helpdesk and service engineers. You will also be responsible for the supervision of a small team as well as managing the reporting system regarding faults and resolutions.


In order to succeed in the role of Customer Service Supervisor/Manager, you will ideally have experience of leading customer service teams from within a busy service environment. Ideally you will have experience of supporting a product that is manufactured. You will need strong PC and systems experience, as well as good customer service skills, which will include report analysis. This role will also see you supporting a small team of helpdesk engineers so you will need leadership experience.
