MULTI TASK OPERATIVE - (PERMANENT, FULL TIME)Heywood)A vacancy has arisen for a Multi Task Operative to support our clients Heywood site.The Role:Reporting to Team leader and the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a desire, flexibility and capability to perform a range of administrative, warehouse and inventory duties which will include;The planning and co-ordination of orders to meet customer requirements and the release of these orders to the warehouse operation.Liaison with the customer to ensure the efficient processing of daily ordersResolution of day to day issues with regards to supply of ordersCo-ordination of transport and communication with drivers to ensure deliveries are achieved with the highest possible serviceThe ability to be able to perform a range of warehouse and inventory related duties as required.To receive and putaway stock efficiently and accurately maximising location utilisationTo pick and pack stock as productively and accuratelyTo consider the quality of work while completing tasksInput of data and related administration of the on site WMS and other site based systemsCycle counting of stock within the warehouse and inventory investigations as requiredChecking of picked stock and assembled loads prior to loading and despatchAll activities to be compliant and in support of the contractual KPI targets.Conduct and behaviour to be compliant with Health & Safety legislation and guidelinesA range of duties to support the operational efficiency and general housekeeping and hygiene standards of the warehouse and site.The ability to be able to operate a range of MHE is an advantageTo undertake such additional duties as may be reasonably required for the effective role within the office.The Person:EssentialAble to provide and understand the need for a high standard of customer serviceComfortable to liaise and communicate frequently with the customerA proactive, flexible and 'can do' attitude to resolve issues and challengesThe individual needs to be able to demonstrate attention to detail and an accurate and precise way of working to ensure all documentation and data is correct.Numerate and PC literate good Excel skills combined with good communication and administration skillsAbility to work as part of a team but also independently and to show initiativeFlexibility is required regarding day / back shift patterns.The ideal candidates will possess a positive attitude with a keen and enthusiastic approach.DesirableCounterbalance fork lift and Reach Truck licences would be an advantagePlease apply below
