As one of our Facility Engineers, you'll work on diverse facilities such as complex conveyor systems and vehicle test machines. Responsible for the specification of new facilities and modification works, your Facility Engineer responsibilities will extend to include planning, schedule control and project management of contractors and OEM support. You'll also be involved with the procurement, installation, commissioning and buyoff of facility works and adhere to all facility safety and legal compliance.

With the flexibility to perform weekend work when necessary and co-ordinate shutdown activity, you'll carry out long term refurbishment and obsolescence management, together with major breakdown and facility efficiency activities. You'll also have control over budgets and the launch of new model projects to meet our delivery KPI's.

A strong leader, you'll ideally have trained as an apprentice and have engineering experience, together with a degree or HNC level qualification. With a proven ability of managing technical personnel, contractors and multiple projects, you'll have a solid mechanical or electrical background and knowledge of European Machine Legislation & European Standards. You also need to be skilled at communicating and negotiating.
