We now have a new exciting opportunity within our Plant division for a Transport Manager for our Bonnyrigg depot in Scotland.
Reporting to the Depot Manager, this is a brand new job opportunity to manage the Transport provision for the Bonnyrigg depot, ensuring that all Plant allocation and haulage is carried out effectively and efficiently, meets customer needs and is compliant with Health and Safety regulations.
Key responsibilities will include:Providing cost effective Plant transport solutions that meet business, customer and regulatory requirementsEnsuring that the transport operation is compliant with Health and Safety requirements and is legally compliantEnsuring that all Plant is delivered to site on timeDeputising for the Depot Manager in their absence.
You will be able to use your strong organisational skills and driven approach to work, to manage and lead in this fast paced, customer focused safety environment. Self-motivated, practical and commercially aware you will have the chance to thrive in an environment where continuous improvements to business efficiencies and profitability are recognised and rewarded. You must be CPC certified and experience of management within the plant and transport industry is essential.
