Head of Marketing, Central Europe - London/Bonn, Germany - £65-100K (salary dependent on location)
My client is a global leader in facilitating intelligent delivery. Their software platform spans the entire delivery ecosystem. With this end-to-end approach, it's probably no surprise that they provide solutions to over 70% of the UK's ecommerce brands and more than 500 international retailers. Fast growing and with an international team of 280, they are now looking to expand further.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for working closely with sales team in Bonn and the central marketing team in London to define and execute a marketing strategy that will support the growth of the business in Central Europe.
The role of Marketing Manager will oversee the company's new products' programme and ensure a steady stream of new products are developed and brought to market effectively. The role reports to the Marketing and Strategy Director, and will work closely with the Client Services and Sales teams.
Main Job Responsibilities:Develop and execute the marketing and messaging strategy for clients in Europe, focusing on the fast-growing opportunities with Retailers, Carriers and 3PLDefine customer needs and insights, and develop targeted messaging and campaigns that address the needs and speak to the insights of different B2B audiencesWork closely with cross-functional teams across Europe PR, Legal, and Product MarketingIdeate, develop, and execute marketing campaigns that drive MetaPack's business. Lead and coordinate the content and experience strategy for Thought leadership Events.Liaise with cross-product marketing teams, sales teams, and events teams to bring B2B thought leadership, insights and experiences to life.Deliver quality outputs with tight deadlines in a dynamic environmentMake the case to senior management for resources and report regularly on progress
Please ONLY apply if you possess the following:MBA degree or equivalent practical experienceUsed to working across multiple functions within a business, including technology, marketing, account management, sales and financeFluent in German, English and ideally a second European languageExposure to a high growth, technology environment, carriers,3PL and ecommerceMarketing experience with a solid understanding of B2B marketing.Demonstrated experience in defining customer needs and insights, and in developing targeted messaging and initiatives that address the needs and speak to the insights of different audiences.Excellent written and oral communication skills with peers, management and cross-functional teams, and strong ability to communicate in a structured and clear manner to influence outcomes.Self-Starter with the ability to effectively operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and to lead multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously in constantly-evolving context.30-50% Travel - so flexibility required.
