ICT Sharepoint Developer Officer

As a member of the Systems Development Team, you will work in collaboration with fellow development specialists to deliver a range of high quality information services to all members of a diverse and vibrant teaching, learning and research community.
You will be responsible for developing the University Microsoft Sharepoint service, working with representatives of a range of faculties and departments to establish their document management requirements and then propose and develop a solution using Microsoft Sharepoint. The existing Sharepoint service is still in an embryonic state and you will work with external consultants to bring the service to market.
The successful candidate will be computer literate in Microsoft Office tools, thorough, well-organised, highly professional and responsive to the needs of the user community. Prior experience in the development a Sharepoint service is essential, and ideally in a large, complex organisation.
