Director of Asset Compliance
Location: London or ManchesterThe Guinness Partnership is seeking a Director of Asset Compliance who will shape, manage and direct a market leading National compliance service for Guinness Partnership customers.
This is an exciting time to join The Guinness Partnership. We are making some changes to simplify our business and drive improvement in customer service and value for money. Among these is the creation of a new functional operating structure and, within this, a national Asset Management directorate. The Director of Asset Compliance will play a key role in shaping and leading this new team, building upon the improvements we have already made. The position reports directly to the Executive Director of Asset Management and will have a close working relationship with the CEO and the Executive Team. As Director of Asset Compliance you will be responsible for:Setting the strategy for asset compliance so that legislative requirements are met and our reputation protectedCertifying that all technical services have a clear and defined compliance strategy for housing and non-housing assets.Oversight and management of all consultant and contractor agreements for Mechanical and Electrical services and periodic testing programmesEnsuring that appropriate and proportionate processes are in place to manage risks associated with housing and non-housing property assetsDriving improvements in existing systems, processes and staff structuresDeveloping a clear strategy with respect to data associated with compliance, periodic testing and M&EProviding management and direction to a national team of specialistsWorking effectively as a member of the Asset Management Senior Management Team and the wider Guinness Partnership Leadership Team, ensuring that all key stakeholders are engaged in the vision and direction of the Asset Compliance Team
Who we're looking for
You must be able to demonstrate strong leadership, strategic and commercial skills and have proven experience in a highly compliance focussed sector. As an individual you must be able to display:Exemplary leadership skills. You will have the ability to operate in a highly visible area within the business whilst driving and motivating your team to succeed. You will be able to drive the momentum of the Asset Compliance Team and be able to perform under pressureAn excellent technical background. You will be educated to degree level and preferably hold professional membership to a relevant industry body. You must be someone that fully understands the technical competencies and requirements to deliver a robust and efficient asset compliance programmeA proven ability to manage stakeholders at all levels. You will be someone that can illustrate the Asset Compliance strategy clearly and concisely within the business, from Board to operational levelA keen eye for detail and a pragmatic and logical approach to your workA commitment to customer service
