Media Sales Executive


Health Sector Publishing Ltd (HSP) was established in 1998 and is one of the UK’s leading independent B2B publishers for the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors and provides a variety of products and services to this lucrative sector. HSP now has an exciting opportunity for a Media Sales Executive to help drive the sales of some of HSP’s leading products and services.

To qualify for this role you must be highly motivated with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn and a desire to succeed. You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal and a strong, demonstrable and successful sales background. You will also be able to work on your own or as part of a team.

You will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a media sales and/or a business to business environment.

The ideal candidate will also have a related degree (marketing, media, business).

The Role

You will be responsible for the advertising sales (print and online) for some of Health Sector Publishing’s leading products – Pf Magazine, and Pf Venue Guide.

You will be selling to a variety of different types of businesses including; recruitment, training, IT solutions providers and venues. All of whom will have products or services that are of value to the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector.

In addition you will also help with the implementation of the marketing plan.

Key Skills/Experience:

A minimum 2 years sales experience in either a media sales and/or business to business environmentA proven and demonstrable sales record in either a media sales and/or business to business environmentExcellent communication and selling skills Experience of selling to senior management i.e. Director levelAbility to work on your own or as part of a teamExperience of working with Word, Excel and Power point
