Junior Application Support Analyst
We are seeking an Junior Application Support Analyst to provide high-level technical support to our corporate customers, working with support and development teams to improve day-to-day operations and minimise system down time through effective management of system related incidents.
ResponsibilitiesUnderstand, analyse and resolve, where possible, system related incidents raised by a central client supportteamEnsure incidents that cannot be solved are escalated to the correct support or development teamUse telephone, email and central ticketing systems to deal with these system related incidentsFollow up outstanding incidents to aid prompt resolutionObservation of system monitoring tools and alerts and escalation where necessaryContribute to the knowledge base by documenting problem resolution stepsWork within agreed SLAs for response, resolution and escalation of incidents
Key Skills Required:Fluency in written and spoken EnglishGood investigation and problem solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationGood knowledge of financial derivativesBasic Linux user skills (able to navigate around the system, core admin utilities)Working knowledge of database query languages such as SQLAbility to work independently as well as within teams
Desired Skills:Spanish languageExperience of financial trading systems or other relevant banking solutionsKnowledge of scripting (Python, Linux shell, SQL)Advanced Linux skills
