We are a fast growing South East based company looking for IT Business Analyst. We are based in Berkshire, but successful applicants will travel to deliver services on-site at our client’s offices; flexibility with respect to location within the UK (which will vary from project to project) is essential.
·Organising workshops with Internal and External Stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements to solve complex hardware and software solutions.
·Interacting with senior technical architects to identify changes for technical requirement of systems and develop solution by knowledge transfer.
·Undertaking feasibility studies for major transformation project by incorporating costs and benefits, and presents proposals to stakeholders.
·Documenting existing business models and flows of data and design functional specifications by providing data migration plans.
·Organising Impact assessment session for new business requirements of each business area and technology.
·Analyse and evaluate existing technology performance and work closely with different work streams to implement new systems.
·Analyse the results of UAT test results and generate use cases by working with relevant work stream.
·Provide advice and assistance in delivery, maintenance and use of IT systems in complex environments.
·Analyse ‘As-Is’ process for different projects to identify gaps in existing process and built end to end ‘To-be’ business process and Business Continuity Plan.
·Performed and documented traceability of the business requirements within the process and functional design document.
·Managing relationships with key project, business and technology stakeholders including any channel partners and 3rd parties.
·Updating senior business leads or enterprise architects with progress, risks, and issues.
Education and Experience:
·Masters in Business Administration, Computer Science, or similar/masters degree is an advantage.
·Experience in an IT leadership role in a development or operations environment, with specialisation in project delivery and/or service management.
·Work in accordance with group policies, Client and regulatory requirements and Operational Frameworks.
·In-depth knowledge of process modelling and process mapping using a recognised process mapping tool
·Excellent requirements gathering and documentation skills
·Experience of managing 3rd party suppliers/Partners
·Strong stakeholder management skills
·Tools and techniques such as SQL, UML and Data Flow modelling tools.
The role will be significantly client facing, so communication skills will be important.
