Recruitment Consultant

My client is a leading Executive Search company based in the West End. They are looking for Recruitment Consultants with a minimum of 4 years experience so please only apply if you have the relevant experience.

Responsibilities include

Have ultimate accountability for leading the execution of executive search and insight assignments to the very highest professional standard

Define and document the client’s requirements. This involves meeting with the client to ensure that the brief is clearly understood as are the cultural fit requirements and producing the internal search strategy and assignment/candidate brief documents

Methodically map the candidate landscape to ensure all potential candidates are considered in pursuit of the best talent for our clients’ requirements

Network with senior industry figures to generate recommendations and referrals

Present the opportunity and qualify the candidates suitability

Conduct candidate assessment and reference checks

Write candidate reports and executive summaries

Lead client updates in person and/or by telephone and create and manage reports as appropriate

Ensure there is consistent candidate contact throughout the process

Meet with clients to review assignments post completion in order to understand what can be improved for following engagements

Ensure every individual receives a best-in-class experience in their dealings within the company to create a positive market perception

Knowledge Management

Build knowledge of a specific industry/function by keeping up to date with the latest trends and news

Build and maintain a network of key influencers in your specialist area

Attend relevant industry and networking events

Business Development

Develop and implement a business development strategy, including the creation of a defined target list of prospects and key stakeholders

Arrange meetings with decision makers and key influencers for new business development purposes and attend where appropriate

Create corporate insight packs in preparation for business development meetings

Identify where there are current talent gaps in organisations to enable a more targeted approach and highlight to the relevant consultant

Assist in the co-ordination of internal networking and industry events with current and prospective clients

Skills and experience

4+ years of experience in either a fast paced executive search or contingent recruitment environment

Demonstrable progression within each previous employer

Can demonstrate a track record of successful delivery in their role and consistently exceeding performance objectives
