Reports to: Head of Customer Marketing
·Develop and evolve marketing analysis and metrics that enable commercially advantageous decisions to be taken across all customer marketing channels.
·Manage the data analysis, segmentation and lists for customer retention and acquisition across all channels (direct mail, email, telemarketing etc.).
·Develop insightful product and pricing analysis to grow product sales through all marketing channels.
·Manage and develop company wide reporting to ensure the business has timely report on KPI’s.
·Manage and develop insightful analysis and segmentation of customers and prospects to influence the customer acquisition and retention marketing strategy.
·Analyse and communicate marketing performance by campaign and channel (catalogue, web, email, telemarketing, field sales etc.) to drive the optimisation of marketing campaigns and channels.
·Analyse and manage the production of customer and prospect data list selections for all marketing campaigns (catalogue, email, telemarketing, field sales etc.).
·Manage list and data buying with third party data marketing agencies.
·Produce and develop insightful product sales analysis to develop the product merchandising strategy.
·Provide insights across our loyalty and prospect email campaigns to influence the e-newsletter strategy.
·Load email data segments into the email delivery platform to run e-newsletter campaigns.
·Produce and develop insightful product promotion analysis for tactical marketing campaigns.
·Manage the production of the main price files and tactical promotional price files for marketing campaigns.
·Manage and develop the sales team telemarketing campaigns to meet our commercial objectives.
·Analyse and set the monthly sales team promotions and sales targets to meet our commercial objectives.
·Develop customer analysis and prospect lists to target large customer accounts by the Customer Development and Field Sales teams.
·Present monthly targets/campaigns as part of the monthly marketing/sales meetings.
·Improve and maintain the accuracy of the customer database for marketing purposes, adhering to the relevant Data Protection Legislation and ensuring that customer data is handled in a secure and legal manner.
·Analyse the competitive environment and UK market to inform and develop our marketing strategy.
·Support the whole marketing team effort in the implementation of the multi-channel strategy.
·Manage 1 Junior Marketing Analyst.
The ideal candidate will:
·Have at least 2-3 years’ experience in an analytical marketing role, preferably within the retail/distribution sector.
·Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
·Demonstrable knowledge and hands on experience of customer data selection for acquisition and retention.
·Strong A level (or equivalent) in Maths, with degree level (or equivalent) in maths or similar being beneficial.
·Advanced Excel skills (using Pivot Tables to a high standard) are essential, experience of using Microsoft Access and PowerPoint is desirable but not essential.
·Experience of Data Mining software such as Diver and Email delivery systems such as Smart Focus is desirable but not essential.
·Experience of managing people is desirable but not essential.
·The ability to manage and prioritise workloads to tight deadlines.
·A strong team player with the ability to work with other teams and build relationships is essential.
·Ability to speak French desirable.
