The Group’s Health, Safety and Environment Division provides consultancy, due diligence and corporate services to commercial property owners and developers, financial institutions and commercial lenders, managing agents, property managers, industrial clients, local authorities and the wider public sector.

Position: Asbestos Consultant

Location: Aberdeen (including offshore)

Type: Permanent

Overview of Role:

This is a commercially focused role reporting to the Operational Manager. Supervising and supporting Technicians and support staff

Main Duties:Client management, care and liaisonOrganising, assessing and conducting asbestos management, refurbishment and demolition surveys within a teamPrepare factual and interpretative reportsOrganisation of asbestos removal projects as instructed, and any contractors and subcontractors appointedConducting on site monitoring of removal works including background tests, smoke tests, visual inspections, leak tests, 4 stage clearance and re-occupation testsSome offshore workAssist in the training technicians on and off siteConducting Asbestos Awareness seminars for clients and their representativesUndertake other duties and responsibilities as required by the Operational Director and Senior Consultants

Skills/Knowledge Required:

Ideally CCP qualified or minimum S301/ P401,2,3,4,5Previous experience of working within consultancies and experience of dealing with multiple clients across a variety of industriesCommercially focused with proven leadership skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to demonstrate a flexible approach Experience of working to strict deadlines
