Office Manager

Permanent  for Peoplefresh Ltd in Slough

Our client azzur is a successful leadership development consultancy who works with high profile organisations to help them unlock their true potential - through their people. A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the azzur team as an Office Manager.

Working within a small team based in Burnham, the role will support the MD/Director and Consultants in delivering the very best leadership development solutions to their clients. In addition to taking responsibility for ensuring that the entire spectrum of the back office operation runs like clockwork (including the facilities), the Office Manager, whilst being hands on, will have the opportunity to shape process and systems to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness for all clients.

Reporting directly to the MD and supported by a small team, the role will also have responsibility for providing first class operational and project management support to key clients.

Other specific duties will include:

Providing back office support to the business to ensure its smooth running including:Providing administrative support to the consultants and client projectsEnsuring the company premises are fit for purpose and safeOverseeing the financial management including management / monitoring of accountant and book keeperManaging and developing a range of operational databasesDeveloping, maintaining and issuing programme/project plans including:Monitoring programmeAllocating project resources - co-ordinating diaries for the project team.Invoicing according to programme schedule and updating reports/budgeting recordsClient service and liaison including:Regular client updates, to run through programme status Producing reports sent to the client on a monthly basisProject support including:Materials - checking and sending to client for printing, ahead of workshopManaging suppliers - print production / purchase of materialsResource Management

This is a demanding, but very rewarding role offering variety, responsibility as well as the opportunity to contribute and make a difference. It covers all aspects of running a small yet growing business with the opportunity to shape future systems, processes and client support. But it is not for the faint hearted. In addition to previous office/business management and programme/project administration experience, intermediate MS Office IT skills (Advanced level required for excel), a real passion for the Customer and well developed planning/organisational ability, you will need to be a self starting multi tasker with high standards, have bags of initiative, an enviable work ethic and love problem solving too.

You’ll get involved in some confidential work as well so tact and discretion are also a must.

If you happen to have technical IT experience and/or have some HR/Training experience that would be a real plus but not essential.
