Training/Meeting Room Coordinator

Providing an end to end service to coordinate our city centre training and meeting room activity. Capturing initial room requirements, scheduling bookings and welcoming organisers. The role will provide an all-encompassing training/meeting room service. Additionally each day will include physically setting and changing room layouts. Throughout the day ensuring that all areas are clean tidy and all equipment is in place and working – dealing with any shortfalls. Monitoring room use to make sure that rooms are used efficiently and effectively, ensuring that resources are not wasted. Providing data and making recommendations for improvements. The role is a customer facing role which requires excellent customer service and communication skills as outlined below:

Excellent communication skills. A good clear speaking voice is essential.Ability to deal with people from different environments and at all levels.A great deal of tact and diplomacy, whilst remaining assertive.Dependability, reliability and the willingness to take responsibility for your own work and cover for others.Ability to work under pressure with a happy, unflustered outlook.Ability to work in a team environment. Happy to undertake physical labour to setup and change rooms and move equipment.Ability when needed to work flexible hoursTo perform such additional or alternative duties as the Company shall, from time to time, reasonable require.
