As our development in Woodbridge nears completion, we are now looking for the team to provide the top quality service our ambitions require, putting the customer at the heart of everything we do.
As the Guest Services Manager at Woodbridge, you’ll be at the hub of the development, providing a positive and lively approach to developing the community. Being the face of PegasusLife you’ll help everyone settle into their new homes and lead the lifestyle they are aiming for. You are the person who brings the magic to owning one of our apartments, seizing the opportunities to delight the owners with a service beyond their imagination. You are the person that makes a difference on a day to day basis. The first person that everyone turns to for everything from information about ‘what’s on’and walks in the area to ensuring the safety and security of the site.
You will be the fountain of all knowledge in relation to local events, clubs and activities. Liaising with local contractors and suppliers to ensure the building is maintained to the highest standards and even lending a hand yourself, are all part of the role. Managing the on-site accounts, ensuring we meet our promise of a completely transparent approach combined with a cost effective and efficient use of funds is key.
You’ll also be our ‘person on the ground’. The one who makes sure everything is ready for move-in day, co-ordinates and arranges the maintenance, keeps the records and the events diary up to date and lets us know what’s happening. Supporting the sales manager is also an element of this role. You’ll need to ensure that we don’t just deliver on the dream that we promise but that we exceed it.
What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for someone with an outgoing personality and the warmth, compassion and insight to be able to work with every individual in the development. You’ll be used to talking to people and using your instinct to go the extra mile. You will have plenty of energy and positivity to manage our service partners as well as budgets.
Your approach means that you strive to exceed expectations, always putting the customer first, taking a long term view and treating everyone with respect. Delighting the owners will be your focus, but you are also respectful when dealing with our partners and your colleagues. Our philosophy of improving, evolving and positively challenging will already be a part of your day to day life. Motivation is important and you’ll be able to work on your own initiative, but also contribute to the wider PegasusLife team.
As you would expect with our sights set so high, expectations are also high and your experience will be the key to meeting and exceeding them. You will have worked in a customer facing role, probably in tourism, hospitality or retail, meaning that your communication skills will be excellent and you’ll have experienced much of what the local area has to offer. You will enjoy the outdoor life, be empathetic to people’s needs and seek to constantly go above and beyond what is expected.
Organisation and practical problem solving are also included in your key skills and you will be able to combine seeing the bigger picture with the attention to detail that ensures a high quality result.
Location, salary and benefits
We are looking for 2 part time Guest Services Managers to work 9 am to1pm, covering 7 days a week between them. We offer a salary of £18k pro rata and a benefits package. This role is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
The role is based at our Woodbridge development but will involve attendance at our Winchester office on occasion (at least quarterly) to meet up with the rest of the team.
