Customer Service and Telesales Person
Cotswold Fayre is the leading wholesaler within the speciality food sector supplying farm shops, garden centres, food halls and delicatessens throughout the UK and beyond. Based in Central Reading with car parking, the company is set for rapid growth in 2015 and is now looking for a confident, organised and experienced person to join our busy Customer Service Team. Initially the post is to cover Maternity leave for 6 months but may become a permanent role due to the company's growth. The purpose of the Role is to be the first point of contact for customers and process their requirements to the highest standard. To manage orders from input to invoicing and increase orders through upselling.
Key responsibilities:Answer incoming calls and input all ordersProcess orders accurately whilst up-selling and implementing promotionsAccurately process invoices in accordance with payment and delivery termsEnsure stock information is conveyed to customers as per Cotswold Fayre procedureEnsure systems are updated correctly Arrange collection and credit requests on the system to company guidelinesSet up new accounts, advise customers delivery information and inform RAM’s of new contactsMaintain a good understanding of catalogue products and promotionsMaintain company records and ensure CRM is updated at all timesCarry out any other duties that are within your skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed
