Continuous Improvement Coach
Main Roles and Responsibilities Overview:
Lean Education & Development (LEAD), an established and award winning continuous improvement training company, require an experienced manufacturing/production engineer or manager to take on the role of a Continuous Improvement Coach. Working on an onsite project basis, you will support training in Adult Apprenticeships in Business Improvement Techniques, working with learners to implement new lean initiatives to continually improve business processes and standardise best practices for your business operations.Projects will involve a personal approach to assess and identify areas of improvement.Working within your region, you will develop alongside a number of clients, methods to improve current processes.You will engage learners in work based improvement projects to demonstrate the effectiveness of lean tools and techniques and give them direct experience in making business improvements.This will include coaching and advising learners in various initiatives including Kaizen, Kanban, 5S, SMED, TPM, 7 Wastes, TPS or other continuous improvement initiatives.Ultimately you will up skill the workforce so they can continue to improve in the future.The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the following areas;LEAN - Continuous Improvement within a manufacturing or engineering environment.You will have an advanced working knowledge of lean processes such as Kaizen, 5S, SMED, TPM, 7 Wastes, Kanban, Muda, TPS etc.Qualifications in the relevant disciplines are highly desired but not essential as they do provide training.

Salary: £27,500 moving to £30,000 on successful completion of probationary period. Package includes pension, fully paid travel expenses and performance related bonus.
