SEN Teaching Assistant in North London - Zone 2SEN Teaching Assistant role in North London, Zone 2Start Date: Immediate / January 2015Permanent positionSalary: depending on experienceAn SEN school in North London is looking to appoint an outstanding and enthusiastic teaching/classroom assistant to start immediately and on a permanent basis.This school provides holistic and tailored education to students with special educational needs, aged 2 to 19. Pupils` needs span a range of complex learning difficulties including EBD, ASD, SLD and PMLD. The school has been graded ?outstanding` on all aspects. The lessons are taught by experienced SEN teachers and supported by passionate classroom assistants. Each child receives the care and attention they deserve and flourish in an environment where their needs are embraced and understood.The school requires a vibrant and friendly teaching assistant who is dedicated to making a difference in pupils` lives. The successful candidate will be working on a one-on-one basis with an autistic child in KS2, so previous ASD experience is essential. The vacancy is available immediately however the school is willing to wait until January for the right candidate. The leadership is seeking a committed and hard-working TA and is prepared to offer a permanent position to an individual who thrives in the role and enjoys working at the school. In order to apply for this challenging and rewarding position, you will need to meet the following criteria:- Eligible to work in the UK - Experience working as an SEN TA in a classroom setting - ASD experience is essential to apply - Familiar with assisting classes in the UK.
