Assistant Revenue Accountant

Temporary  for Advantage Resourcing in Luton

We are currently working with a leading leisure company who are looking to recruit an Assistant Revenue Accountant for a 6 month interim role based in their offices in Luton.This role will take responsibility for credit card ledger and related charges (merchant fees and chargebacks). And work to minimize the reconciliation differences by investigating, escalating and settling issues in a timely manner.Key responsibilities include:-Daily monitoring of credit card reconciliation report-Investigation and successful resolution of other discrepancies highlighted-Liaise with IT systems, treasury and revenue protection team on payment process, merchant fees and chargebacks-Challenge existing processes and suggest improvements-Daily matching of cash received in the bank with corresponding payfiles-Liaise with cash control team on cash received in respect of outstanding payfiles and posting of cash to ledger-Prepare ad hoc reporting as and when required-Responsible for monthly reconciliation of credit card ledger -In depth analysis of merchant fees and chargebacksThe ideal candidate will be AAT qualified (or part ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience of credit card payments and reconciliation processes as well as strong Excel skills.If you feel this role will be a good match please apply with your most recent CV.
