THE ROLE

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the successful Business Development Manager will proactively sell a suite of software tools to a range of corporate clients. You will be responsible for educating clients on the benefits of this business’ products, whilst building strong and lasting commercial relationships across a broad spectrum of industries.

Key Responsibilities:

To develop a deep and thorough understanding of this business' software products, along with their potential application across a range of industries and sectors.To take ownership of all incoming commercial leads, including preliminary qualification over the telephone, and the initiation of follow-up meetings to attend with senior colleagues where appropriate.To target new prospects via existing databases and self-led research in order to proactively identify and develop future commercial opportunities across a range of target organisations.To meet and exceed activity and revenue based targets, in line with the growth objectives of the business.To act as a brand ambassador, educating the market on the benefits of this software, and the considerable impact that it can have on the success of their organisations.

THE CANDIDATE

Prior experience (1-3 years) of selling subscription based software (or similar). A history of selling directly to hiring managers and HR professionals would be preferable, but is not a pre-requisite for this role.Proven track-record in successfully delivering against activity and revenue based targets.Prior experience of developing new business from scratch, whilst also handling inbound sales inquiries.Will be highly personable, possessing both an excellent telephone manner and the gravitas to present to clients at all levels of seniority in person.Will demonstrate boundless enthusiasm, and be an excellent team player!

THE REWARDS
