Our client is looking for an experienced regional HR Generalist to join a small HR team where you will work in partnership with a number of their operational teams.This is a generalist role that offers the opportunity to have a direct impact on the success of the organisation.You will be a main point of contact and be responsible for a range of ER issues including disciplinaries, grievances, short and long term absences, consultations and assisting managers in dealing with performance issues.
The key to success is the ability to build relationships quickly and remotely and handle deadlines whilst maintaining a keen eye on detail.You will enjoy working in an operational environment and have a proven track record of supporting and coaching managers.
You must have a sound knowledge of employment law/HR best practice, a minimum of 2 years’ ER experience and have the desire to learn.This is an ideal role to build upon your existing experience and be involved in complex ER issues including TUPE and staff consultations.
As a HR Generalist/Adviser supporting our regional divisions you must be able to travel to attend meetings and hearings where appropriate; this is expected to be a maximum of 2 days per week.
