PURPOSE OF ROLE
Main performance elements to the role:
i) Weekly timesheet processing for over 500 employees
ii) Processing new starters
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESWeekly timesheet processing for over 500 employees.Hourly reconciliations to identify operatives not processedProcessing new starter and holiday forms weeklyBeing responsible for weekly/monthly payroll processing including statutory payments and completing Year End procedures for allocated payrolls.Processing occupational and statutory sickness, maternity and paternity leave and administering pension schemesProcessing in line with HMRC regulations, PAYE and NI deductions.Accurately maintaining the HR system, including leavers and starters.Effectively resolving enquiries from clients, either face to face, by telephone, written or electronic communication.
KEY MEASURES & EXPECTED RESULTS
·Accurate processing of weekly timesheets and new starters
·Maintaining the HR system and keeping it up to date with new starter information
·Good knowledge of Excel
