Accounts Manager

Permanent  for Utilisoft in Clayton Green, Chorley

We are an innovative and market leading software development company based in Chorley. A Private Equity backed business which is growing rapidly, thus the role is expanding and supports / interacts with many of the business functions, particularly the sales team.

Hours of Work:- Full Time, Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00 or 09:00 - 17:30 - Permanent Basis.

Reporting to:- Chief Financial Officer

Place of Work:- Alliance House, Clayton Green Business Park, Library Road, Chorley, PR6 7EN 

Role:- Responsibility for the production of the period and statutory accounts, management reporting (including price modelling for the sales team) and all aspect of the accounts for a rapidly, PE backed, expanding software company.

Description of Responsibilities:-

·A hands on role, involved in all aspects of accounting, from invoice input to cash management, to accruals and prepayments, production of monthly reporting pack and management reporting for the business. Knowledge of VAT and the functions of a busy accounts function is essential.

·In addition to the Financial Accounts role, part of the role is involved in detailed price modelling for the sales team and as such the successful candidate will have good excel skills around modelling (look up tables, alternative scenarios etc.)

Qualifications, Attributes & Experience

Part qualified or qualified with of the major accountancy bodies.

Alternatively must have been in a similar hand’s on role covering the entire requirements of a medium sized growing business.
