Financial Administrator – Conservators of the River Cam£19-26k full time – flexible working / part time possible
As Financial Administrator you will provide administrative, reporting and financial support to the organisation and board.
Reporting to the River Manager you will be responsible for a wide and varied range of tasks including finance and accounting work, office administration, licensing and registration, customer liaison and website management. You will be an integral part of small and close knit team who work to improve and manage the River Cam.
You will have a good level of Maths and English with previous experience of finance and administration. You will be competent with the use of Excel, Access, email, and knowledge of Sage would be an advantage. You will be organised and demonstrate an attention to detail. You will also be able to communicate well with a wide range of audiences from the general public to the board.
The Conservators of the River Cam are a unique organisation dating back to 1702. We are responsible for navigation on the River Cam through Cambridge and are based at a riverside location. This is a rare opportunity to join us and work on improving all aspects the River Cam for all of its users.
