About the position
Reporting to the Head of Marketing
Qualification and experience requirements:
•Degree in Marketing / MBA Preferably
•5 to 8 years’ experience in an Islamic financial services company.
•In depth understanding and detailed knowledge of Islamic/ Shari’ah Compliant investment products and socially responsible investments.
•At least 5 years experience in dealing with Financial Protection and Shari’ah Compliant Retirement Planning, Non-permissible Income.
•In depth understanding of Islamic consumer markets.
•Experience conceptualising and providing strategic direction on Islamic/ Shari’ah Compliant product marketing.
•Experience with the implementation and activation of focused target campaigns to the Islamic market.
•Must have experience in dealing with agencies and suppliers to provide direction on the campaign requirements and overseeing its implementation.
•The person must have experience in providing complete communications and promotional support to financial advisors.
•Must have experience in dealing with sponsorship marketing and branding.
•Experience in dealing with community and mainstream media.
The position requires a mid-level candidate with solid Shari’ah marketing experience in an FCA regulated financial firm. Candidate must possess the ability to organize the marketing function in an efficient and effective manner, taking into account the need to be able to demonstrate adherence to regulations.
Job Requirements: we require someone who has experience in both conventional and Islamic Funds with:
·Creating ,directing and implementing the Company’s long term local and global marketing strategy.
·Protection, Maintenance and Development of the Brands and identity of the Company
·Introducing new and relevant marketing strategies and media opportunities promptly and appropriately
·Timely and accurate executive management reporting on material issues and developments with substantive marketing proposals
·Ability to provide creative input to marketing team
·Ability to develop a clear brief issued to relevant service providers as well as application of skills to negotiate costs
·The ability to observe and analyse market information and consumer behaviour and develop consumer insights and media strategies and communication strategies
·Preparation of annual and quarterly marketing budgets and ability to conduct cost benefit analysis of the various marketing campaigns instituted
·Review and edit all marketing material
·Conduct presentations to Executive Committee defining marketing campaigns and proposals

The salary is based on a cost to company basis and competitive rates of pay apply.
