Based in south Northamptonshire, our client is an independent firm of Solicitors which has been established for over 20 years. A multi-service firm, it has 2 Directors and 24 employees in total and is looking to recruit a Practice Manager/Director to strengthen its processes and systems as the firm moves into a new phase of expansion and development.
You will be responsible for:Business development, building relationships with business introducers and contacts to help build the business and bring new clients to the firmTo deputise as a Compliance Officer for Legal Practice and for Finance and Administration supporting the DirectorsPractice management compliance including Solicitors Regulation Authority and statutory compliance. Eventually leading the firm to achieve LEXCEL accreditationLiaising with banks and accountantsOverseeing the finance department for the firm, providing support to the Accounts Manager when needed and ensuring compliance with Solicitors Accounts RulesRecruitment at senior level, liaising with relevant agencies and head-hunters including fee negotiationsImplementing new marketing strategies such as using social media and technology to increase the firm’s exposureBuilding the team and managing the team, ensuring the right staff are in place to cope with growthSupporting the existing management team with the day to day running of the businessDealing with other projects/requirements the business may needProvide leadership and management to enable the firm to develop and grow and maximise its potential
Suitable candidates must have experience within a legal environment at management level or equivalent, along with the following experience in particular:Business development skillsStrong staff leadership and people management skillsKnowledge of Solicitors’ Accounts Rules and Solicitors Regulation AuthorityThe ability to help drive the business forward and inspire
Our client is looking to pay a salary between £40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience.
