My client, an SME based near Heathrow Airport, is looking for a head-office based Logistics Manager to control the Supply Chain Process for its £30 million turnover business. In this busy administrative role you will report to the Operations Director and your responsibilities will include:Management of outsourced warehouse (3PL) including reporting & ensuring performance agaionst SLAs.Preparing & booking deliveries with major customer warehouses.Build relationships with the Goods-In/Warehouse Management teams from customer CDCs.Planning and forecasting of stock.Inventory control.Reporting of key performance indicators.Optimising stock-handling in local warehousing facilities.
To be successful in this role you will:Have solid experience working in a similar head-office logistics role.Be eligible to work in the UK (unfortunately my client cannot support work permit applications for this role).Have a good general education to a minimum of A-Level standard.Have an excellent working knowledge of SAP R3.Be enthusiastic and proactive in your approach.Have excellent attention to detail.Excellent written & oral communication skills.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritise.
