Our client is a leading home care service provider who is looking for enthusiastic hard-working Care Co-ordinator to join their thriving team based in Scarborough. Previous experience as a Care Co-ordinator and knowledge of the local area is essential.The role will entail: -Weekly rotas - Ensure care staff number 'v' client visits is kept to a minimum, effective management of mileage costs. Manage carers hours fairly.-Managing CM3 alerts - Action visit lengths, query with staff where necessary, ensure all missed starts are auctioned promptly. -Updating history information on CM3 where appropriate.-New client assessment - Complete all IHL paper work effectively. Create carer file on both CM3 and paper. -Liaise with care coordinators with specific details discussed.-Client reviews of both support plans and risk assessments.-Client introductions for all staff including attending all first visits from staff.-Client home records- Ensure all clients have relevant IHL paper work in their homes prior to first visits.-Check existing clients home records and paper work to ensure up to date and relevant.-First line manager to all care staff.-Complete spot checks and supervised visits- Flag any issues to manager e.g. staff not wearing PPE.-Follow up on call information -Read all on call reports carefully, action where appropriate, liaise with on call staff to ensure good communication is up held.-Office enquires both client and staff -That all are dealt with effectively, recorded appropriately and time efficiently.-Collect MAR charts and client diary sheets > Read to ensure correct and accurate > File documents-Costing's - CCG, local authority, private etc…. - Calculate costs per visit of care package, action time efficiently. Consideration to the hours that the branch delivers and think towards branch growth where possible.-Interview potential staff - Ensure all interview procedures are followed, relevant paper work is completed, successful staff are supported through the recruitment process.-Locate/order uniforms, badges, gloves etc.-Correspondence -Rejection letters to potential staff either at application stage or following interview. -Confirm notice period, return of company equipment by letter to those staff leaving the company. Exit interviews if possible.-Action carer staff member 3 month reviews-Manage staffing levels-Ensure all relevant information is added to CM3 either client or carer. -Managing carer sickness including return to work interviews.-Managing carer holidays-Hold periodic carer meetings.-Appraisals annually.
