Group Property Manager

Role description

As a consequence of a progressive restructure, contract wins and a drive to look at efficiencies and improving standards relating to their property interests, Turning Point is seeking a versatile Property Manager. This innovative national occupier has a variety of predominantly leasehold properties and a number of strategic and business driven objectives where property is an integral aspect. With their operational headquarters based in Manchester, this key in-house property role will support and work alongside all other central business functions. At present, the business has a network of around 250 properties that vary in size, location and use class and, in broad terms, the role will advise, improve and negotiate all property related matters.

Managing a portfolio comprising an interesting mix of residential and operational premises, the role operates as both team leader and internal strategic property advisor. The position will have the autonomy to identify and develop your own value-add initiatives, as well as leading those driven by new business wins and growth. The role will encompass identification of and negotiation with potential strategic partners as well as the full property cycle ranging from site identification, lease negotiations and disposals, through to project delivery. The role is Manchester based with a national remit.

Who we're looking for

To be considered for the role of Group Property Manager you are likely to have the following skills and attributes:

A qualified property professional with experience ideally gained in working in a large / multi-stakeholder organisation.Currently operating at, or working towards, a management level.Broad property and project management skills to enable you to work on a variety of concurrent projects acting in group's interests.The ability to operate at a strategic level, devising and executing plans with appreciation of the wider goals of the group.A proven track-record in developing accommodation solutions, ideally within the health, housing or social care sector.A robust and confident character, with the ability to manage this key group function autonomously.

The position is an exciting advance in the group's continual development; accordingly you will require the necessary gravitas to represent Turning Point when engaging with external stakeholders and potential partners.
