BTFS is a new player in the facilities management market. We're a subsidiary of the BT Group of companies and operate an all-encompassing building support service across BT's vast UK estate. We're now expanding our range of services and taking our skills and experience out to the marketplace.

Servicing BT's dynamic UK-wide estate has taught us to expect the unexpected, broaden our range of services and challenge everything we know about facilities management. From unmanned to high-occupancy trophy sites and from the Scilly Isles to the Orkneys our hard and soft services teams are on-hand 24/7. Our teams are accomplished in responding to and planning for the demands of 21st century customers.

Reporting to the Regional HR Business Partner you will be a key member of the People Team, responsible for supporting BTFS to align people and organisational capability to deliver the strategic objectives of our business.


• Provide advice and support to ensure that managers can effectively manage their teams • Dealing with all employee relations issues such as disciplinary & grievance• Work closely with Managers to develop People Management skills across the region.• Play an active part in the compilation of information and evidence for all internal and external HR processes to include legal and conciliation.• Assist senior HR team with the implementation of the annual HR people plan.• Contribute to the Compilation of annual training plan following appraisal process• Actively encourage managers to adopt the Values within the business (be seen as a “Values Champion”)• Compilation of accurate management information regarding employment issues within business, including pay and benefits, retention, training and resource management• Delivery of training as required• Ensure timely completion of routine processes (i.e. starters, leavers), and ad hoc tasks by effective liaison with the HR Administration team. • Contribute to all aspects of the Companies Communications initiatives.• Work across the HR and Training Advisor community to ensure that all HR related documents in Share point are updated as required

For this position, we are seeking candidates who have an excellent knowledge of human resources functions, employment and, the ability to communicate with all employed levels. CIPD qualified is essential, along with a full UK driving licence.
