Job Title:Administration Assistant

Location: Manchester, M22

Salary: National minimum wage (£13,351 for over 21s)

Job Role:

The company are currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant to provide office and reception support in this busy legal environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented administrator to join this small friendly team. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Sorting, scanning and franking of mailReception duties, including answering telephones in a polite and professional mannerAdministration support, such as typing, filing, faxing, photocopyingManual handling – lifting heavy boxes, moving furniture etcMaking refreshmentsEnsuring meeting rooms are preparedFilling and emptying dishwashersWatering plantsOrdering stationeryErrands, such as buying milk for the officeHelping to keep the office tidyOther ad hoc duties as required

The Candidate:

Required Qualifications/Training;

GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above

Required Attributes;

Administrative experienceExperience of working in a customer-facing roleExperience of dealing with customers on the telephone

Desired Attributes;

Reception experienceNVQs or qualifications in business administrationExperience of working in a law or legal services firm

Holiday Entitlement and Hours:

39.5 hours between 9am-6pm Monday-Friday20 days holiday per annum, plus bank holidays
