Payroll & HR Information Officer

Permanent  for Morson International in Birmingham

Morson International are currently recruiting for a Payroll and Human Resources Information Officer for a permanent position in the Birmingham area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a global company who are leaders in their market.

The purpose of the role is to be responsible for the advisory support & administration of the Company's Human Resource procedures, practices and records, and process the Company Payroll.

The major responsibilities will include -

Payroll

Process and submit monthly payroll including statutory year end returns and P60'sResponsible for creating, maintaining and updating all payroll processesDeal with employee related pay queriesResponsible for all reporting from payroll in line with HR and business requirementsLiaise with HMRC where necessarySend all P45's/P46's to HMRC for all starters and leaversUpdate all statutory payments as appropriateProcess childcare vouchersPension AdministrationPreparation and support of Mandatory Company and HRMC Audits

HR Administration

Process all new starters and leavers including production of induction packs, reference requests, right to work etc.Process all documentation associated with employment changes and variations to contractsCreate and maintain all employee personnel files, ensuring archiving of leavers and cleansing of information held in line with the Data Protection ActSupport the administration of the annual pay reviewProvide HR statistics as requiredProvide support in relation to Occupational Health diary managementManage return to work documentationManage the Time and Attendance System and provide managers with training and guidance as requiredManage the work wear providerManage the employee locker system

We are looking for applicants that have experience with computerised personnel and payroll systems, experience with time & attendance computerised systems and PAYE, NI, Pension, Absence procedures as well as HR procedures and practices.

You need to have strong communication skills, be PC literate and have an eye for detail.
