The Role

As Digital Marketing Executive you will be responsible for the implementation of the digital marketing strategy for Vax group websites. You will mainly focus on the way the products and information are presented on the website, improve customer experience and maximise profitability.

The successful candidate will be degree educated with a real focus on optimizing the customer experience as well as a commercial and sales driven approach. You will be responsible for:

Day to day management of the ecommerce website - updating content and product details, sales promotions and controlling information accuracyOngoing content optimisation (rich media and text) to improve user experience and on-page SEOAssisting in the management of new product launches through the e-commerce channelWorking autonomously to plan, implement and deliver relevant traffic and online conversionsRegular e-com performance report generation for senior stakeholdersWorking closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, Senior E-com Manager, CRM Manager and Social Media Manager to deliver successful multi-channel marketing campaignsTaking ownership of creative asset briefing and management processDevelopment of campaign Landing Pages and assets to support key product launches and marketing initiativesProviding regular promotion change updates to our PPC and SEO agenciesCompetitor activity research and monitoringThe PersonHave minimum 1 year Ecommerce experience with a retailer or manufacturer selling directly to the end consumerBe familiar with the working principles and structure of content management systems and web databasesPosses strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skillsHave HTML coding skillsHave experience of using leading web analytics tools like Google Analytics or Adobe AnalyticsHave developed A basic understanding of image and video formats, file types and their usesExperience with Magento and Wordpress CMS platformsHave the ability to write SQL queries in order to extract data from a databaseKnowledge of paid and organic search optimizationExperience of using Photoshop or similar image editing softwaresKnowledge of MVT and A/B testing
