Position: Purchase Ledger Clerk

Location: Leeds

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm

Salary: £8.00 - £9.00 per hour

Working closely with our client within the FMCG Industry We are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to work within their busy team in Accounts

The core focus of the role is Purchase Ledger whilst supporting in other areas of accounts as and where required.

Experience of Electronic Data Interchange would be advantageousPayroll; processing payments, dealing with queries and staff wages.Matching invoices, orders and delivery notesInputting invoices, credit notes and supplier statementsAssist with chasing payments, compiling sales reports and credit notesDealing with none stock purchase ordersLiaising with vendors and supplier queriesFiling and archivingGeneral administrative duties to include but not limited to sending out letters, maintaining holiday calendar, housekeeping and support to other departments Core Skills and ExperienceExperience in Purchase Ledger EssentialExperience using SAGE and in-depth Excel knowledgeGood problem solving abilityGeneral Administrative experienceExcellent verbal and written communicationKeen attention to detailAble to work on own and as part of a team

The position will be on a temporary to permanent basis however they would look at taking someone on permanently if you are available for an immediate start and demonstrate the rights skills and experience
