A market leader in specialist oils and lubricants is looking for an experienced Technical Sales Area Manager to manage a basis of accounts for theirmetalworking fluids. The ideal candidate needs to have a mechanical engineering background (ideally with some hands on experience) coupled with experience in selling industrial consumables (cutting tools, abrasives, sealing products etc). This Sales Engineer can be based from home and should be living ideally in the North West (Greater Manchester) region
Key skills and qualifications should include: • Strong engineering application knowledge ideally acquired in a machine shop/OEM environment. • Experience in account management/business development, including contract negotiations; • Strong commercial awareness; • Experience of end-user/distributor relationships and distributor management; • Ability to work on own and as part of team with sales, technical and marketing. • Mechanical Engineering qualification highly desirable Owned by a leading international business corporation with nearly 100 years of history in Industrial technology, this company offers stability, excellentbenefits, career development opportunities and well-structured processes.
