Specialist IT organisation are looking for a proactive and ambitious Business Development Manager to develop new business opportunities across the UK. Business Development Manager – IT – Cambridgeshire – £30-35,000 base, £60,000 OTE, plus company benefits – Ref: 13244NLOur client is a specialist in providing IT solutions across enterprise, SMB and public sector accounts. Due to a continued period of growth, they are looking for a new Business Development Manager to join their team and assist in their expansion plans.Based from their office in Cambridgeshire, the Business Development Manager will have the primary responsibility of developing new business opportunities within their corporate team. Key duties include:• Identify new clients through cold calling, prospecting, utilising LinkedIn, marketing campaigns and vendor support.• Proactively target IT Managers/Directors to establish need and provide a solution.• Present solutions, negotiate on prices and close deals.• Build relationships with key vendors.• Represent the company at meetings, trade shows and events.Applicants for the Business Development Manager role will ideally have previous IT/software sales experience. You will have proven experience in developing new business opportunities from scratch, presenting to potential customers and seeing them through to close. You will be hungry, self-motivated, driven and ambitious to build your pipeline and exceed expectations of your customers.
